New project.
New project.
Well, can't believe I did it, but just got a 65 Beetle off EBay!
Going next Saturday to pick it up. Once I get it, I'll have to figure out how to post pictures on here. PO says it will need heater channels fixed, and the new gas tank hooked up. Also brakes bled. Other than that, it should be a quick driver till I can get the channels fixed. Didn't really want a project, but I've got one now!!

congrats...I could have sold you a nice 72...didnt know you were looking!
Re: New project.
Wasn't really looking. Saw it and put what I thought was a low ball bid on it. I do prefer the look of the pre 68 bugs though!

Always good to score something as a low ball. What color is it currently? Any photos from the ad to whet our appetites?

Re: New project.
Congrats! Projects are always fun. I did the heater channels on the 74 that Keith has now, it was a challenge, but nothing that couldn't be done in the driveway. It seemed like the spot welds never ended!
